Day 30 - iPad Art - "Free Flowing Spirit"

Day 30 has arrived. It went by fairly fast, but the journey was enlightening. It showed me what my spirit craved to express. My artwork for today describes this. A spirit allowed to bloom outwards, because a tool let the energy flow out and like water over resistant rocks, it roared so heavily past them that they eroded resistance and joy was felt and expressed. Conclusion: I LOVE my iPad indeed, indeed. Thank you Apple! <3

Day 29 - iPad Art - "Inspired"

As a kid one of my favourite books my parents got for us was "the Art of Star Wars". That book was loved so much that the spine was broken, pages were falling out, but almost everyday I'd be referencing it for how to draw like they did in the book. Names like Joe Johnston and Nilos Rodis-Jamero were names we knew as kids. Even to today, just looking at their work from back then still inspires me.

Decided to do some random "yoshi doodles", with the black marker bg styles that was common in their work. (I did try pastels on the submarine/sea ship vehicle thingy. :)

Day 28 - iPad Art - "sketch it out"

Most art starts off with a sketch. A rough plan for what the end piece of art is to turn out like compositionally. Sometimes it feels right to leave it as a sketch because it captures the initial essence of the art. Like our dreams, we can sketch it out in super detail, but often one simple image can remind us of the initial energy of the dream and keep us focused on it as we remember in a heartbeat the feeling when we first started the journey towards it.

The reindeer is from the Circle Craft christmas fair. A cute little guy who's always patient for Christmas to come around again each year.
