Day 19 - iPad Art - "Eiko Dance"

Something profound changed in me as I put my one piece "on hold" and created this newly inspired art.

Art created after I heard the news tonight that costume designer Eiko Ishioka had passed away on January 21, 2012. I had been attracted by her stuning work on the movie "The Cell" (from the year 2000) starring Jennifer Lopez and I had to create a piece in her honour.

The art emerged before my eyes, beyond thought, I truly felt guided by spirit to let go and let be as my hand moved rapidly to create the fabic and swirls with ease. Her spirit emerges back with the Universe and the energy of her contributions here on this planet will continue to inspire onwards.
